Jose

Jose was born in August 1997.
He arrived in the Casa del Nino in 2003
after his mother was sent to live with the Mother Theresa's Sisters of Charity home for the dying. His mother looked for help from the child welfare department,
hoping that he would be sent to a center where he could get the care that she no longer could offer.
Jose has 3 brothers. The oldest was killed by a street gang.
He also has an older sister who ran away from home.
Jose Alfredo has academic delays due to previous malnourishment.
He is extremely happy at the Casa del Nino and warms everyone with his smile.
